Questionnaire
We have a time tested science behind our pricing, we ask all our clients the below questions about your products, solutions, pricing, goals and jobs to be done. The below questionnaire will take you about 30 minutes to complete and your responses will help us to craft the perfect path forward to achieve the impossible.
- What is the problem you are solving for your customers?
- Why is it worth solving?
- Why is now the right time to solve it?
- Does the team have the vision and the wherewithal to build this company?
- What is the competitive angle (competitive barrier to entry and/or go-to-market) that will enable this company to succeed where others have tried and failed?
- Who does Your company sell to?
- Which customers have used the product and how have they received it?
- How much is each customer worth? (Customer LTV Lifetime Value)
- How does the company acquire customers cost effectively?
- What are the unit economics (customer acquisition cost, contribution revenue, and churn rates)?
- Does the company have the revenue model to build a big (>$100M annual revenue) business with good margins (gross ~ 50 to 60% / net ~15 to 25%) under reasonable assumptions?
- Can the market enable or bear a $100M revenue? Alternatively, is this product in a quickly growing market or riding a disruptive wave?
- Does it look like your customer base is growing?
- Do your customers like your product?
- Does it look like your business/product can actually scale?
- What kinds of people, groups, or organizations have that problem?
- How many are there, where are they, what do they do about it now?
- How are you different?
- Who will you compete with? How are they different?
- How will you make money?
- How will you make money for your investors?
- How fast can you grow your business? Can you scale up volume without proportional scaling up headcount?
- What’s proprietary? What are you going to do to defend that?
- What traction have you made?
- What milestones have you met?
- How are you going to get the word out?
- How are you going to close sales?
- How are you going to get started?
- How are you going to spend investors’ money?
- What makes your team suited for this business?
- How was Your company Founded?
- Why did you decide to (some marketing, product, or financial decision in the pitch)?
- What about some objections related to market, competition, and financial plans?
- Who are your investors so far?
- How strong is your patent?
- Could you grow faster with more money?
- Do you realize you’re vastly underestimating your marketing expenses (or sales expense, or margins through channels, or headcount for direct selling)?
- Do you know comparable numbers for similar businesses?
- Why don’t you do this without funding? (Meaning, why do you think you need investors?)
- What sales have you made so far?
